We work directly with farmers who have been working the blessed lands of Palestine for generations. For them, the olive trees are like family. Love, care, gratitude and resilience are what go into every harvest. 

The olives are hand-picked from 100% rain-fed trees, some of which are ancient (as old as 2400 years old), after which they are crushed and cold-pressed within a matter of hours. This is what keeps the olive oil at its highest quality. The oil is then shipped over to the UK where we bottle and label directly from oil tank to bottle to keep the quality, taste, flavour and nutrition at the highest possible value. 

We are honoured to say we are ethically sourcing olive oil from the land where olives originate; from the blessed lands that produce an unmatched taste and quality: Palestine.

A Sunnah Product:

Olive trees, olives and olive oil are mentioned both in the Qur'an and the Hadith. This means it is recommended by both God and the Prophet Muhammad! (peace be upon him)

Quran verses:

    • "Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. His light is like a niche in which there is a lamp, the lamp is in a crystal, the crystal is like a shining star, lit from the oil of a blessed olive tree, located neither to the east nor the west, whose oil would almost glow, even without being touched by fire. Light upon light! Allah guides whoever He wills to His light. And Allah sets forth parables for humanity. For Allah has perfect knowledge of all things." (Surah Nur, verse 35)
    • "With it He produces for you various crops, olives, palm trees, grapevines, and every type of fruit. Surely in this is a sign for those who reflect." (Surah Nahl, verse 11)
    • "and olives and palm trees" (Surah Abasa, verse 29)
    • "By the fig and the olive" (Surah al-Teen, verse 1)

God speaks of olive trees, olives and olive oil as a blessing from Him, and even takes a promise/oath by the olive - showing its great spiritual importance and benefit!

Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad ( ﷺ):

    • "Season (your food) with olive oil and anoint yourselves with it, for it comes from a blessed tree.” (Sunan ibn Majah, book 29, hadith 3319)
    • "Eat of its oil and use it (the olives), for indeed it is from a blessed tree."

The Prophet gives a clear advice to use olive oil as it is a blessed product.
